Remedial & Special Needs

Bryden has a Remedial Department (called the ‘Workshop’) with two qualified remedial teachers, who cater for children identified by their teachers as needing extra attention in any given area or on request from their parents. Children from other countries or from home-schooling systems often spend time here in the beginning to bring them to the same level of Maths or reading as the class they are going in to. These children come to the teacher at set times during school hours on an individual basis. We also make use of an Occupational Therapist who comes to the school on a monthly basis and liaises with the Remedial teacher, individual teacher or any pupils who need her services.
